Amy had a little boy called Harrison in early November.

Leah had a little boy called Harry in late November.

Amy’s little boy has been very poorly and had been diagnosed with a very rare condition called hyperinsulinism which means he can’t control his insulin production and this caused his blood sugars to drop to a dangerous level. Unfortunately this caused him to have seizures and this has caused significant damage to his brain and he is likely to be disabled. The condition hyperinsulinism affects 1 person in 50,000. He has spent a lot of time in hospital and Amy and Mark are raising money for the paediatric high dependency ward at Queens Medical Centre. Amy is back in the salon Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays. Late night appointments available.

Leah is back in the salon Tuesdays and Thursdays. She will be taking on extra days in the salon in May 2010.

For those of you that don’t know salon owner Amy is expecting her first baby in November, Amy is keen to get back to work after having the baby and will therefore be available throughout December in the salon as normal, she is also available for home visits in the evenings and weekends throughout November and December to maintain your cuts and keep those pesky roots at bay so your still looking good over the festive period.

Laura Kingston : Fomer Saks stylist and colleague of Amy’s has been at dillon & lee for almost a year now, Laura is a talented stylist who is available for appointments Tuesday – Saturday with late nights available on a Wednesday.

Amy Lee: Amy opened the salon opened back in September 2007 and has been seeing a steady rise in clients since the very first day.  Amy has come from an award winning team at Saks where she was the salon educator and manager.
